Banana/Carrot/Orange Juice

Fresh Juice is the best of the best and SUPER easy to make in the vitamix. Most juices are concentrated and packed with sugar so this is a much better alternative. Banana/Carrot/Orange Juice 1/2 banana 1 carrot, peeled and chopped 1 orange peeled 1/2 C ice 1/2 C water Add all ingredients to the blender and blend to a nice juice consistency. Yum!!

This is totally easy and super delicious. This is SUPER easy to make! It makes a great snack or it can also be used as a spread on wraps. What a day to post an ice cream recipe…when it’s snowing outside! Ha! Well, who doesn’t like ice cream all year round even if it is a bit chilly outside. I’ll have to make my next post something warm:-) Brazil Nut Ice Cream 2/3 cup raw, unsalted Brazil nuts (soak a few hrs or overnight) 4-6 dates, pitted (more if you prefer a sweeter ice cream) 1/2 cup water 2 tsp pure vanilla extract 20 medium-sized ice cubes Blend the Brazil nuts, dates, water, and vanilla together until smooth. Homemade Mayo 1 egg 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/2 lemon, juiced 3/4 C extra virgin olive oil (the quality of the oil makes all the difference so be sure to buy a good brand) Place egg, salt, and lemon juice in blender. Slowly add olive oil until mixture starts to thicken. That is it! Carrot Raisin Salad 3 carrots, shredded (2 1/2 C) 1/2 C raisins 1/2 C homemade mayo (see recipe above) 1 tsp lemon juice Mix all ingredients together and serve on salad greens. Yum!
