Power Packed Apple Sauce
Well, a lot has happened lately. I’ve been traveling, making kombucha, building a house, working, and leaving balled up underwear in my pant leg of my SKINNY jeans while I’m in public. I can’t lie about this stuff. It happened. For real. So first on the list, I got to attend the amazing Weston A. Price Foundation again this year. Last year was my first one and I pretty much told them to sign me up for life. It was an amazing time with speakers and friends and food. Okay, so it was really mostly about the food. The conference […]
Gummies
Have you guys ever taken hot yoga? It’s pretty amazing. The thing is that you sweat buckets. Like a WHOLE lot. It makes you feel like you’ve really detoxed, and mostly you probably smell like you did too. I’ve been doing it now for a quite a while but obviously I haven’t learned all the rules. Like how you shouldn’t wear gray pants. Normally I do my hot yoga thing and then come straight home and shower because I’m so rank. But last week I had to make a quick run into the grocery store before I made it home. […]
Paleo Snow Ice Cream
It snowed buckets here over the past couple of days and it is FREEZING! Not just outside but in my house! We’re renting this cute historic home while we build our new house. WELL, we signed up for this when it was all cute and fun and pleasant outside. I fell in love with all the gorgeous windows that I’m now cursing because you can literally feel the wind coming through the windows. I sleep with sweats, a fleece, 2 pairs of socks, […]
The BEST popcorn
Although popcorn isn’t the best for the ‘ol paleo way of eating, it sure is delicious and makes a nice every once in a while treat. It should be noted that you want to purchase organic non-GMO popcorn. (Corn, soy, and wheat are the bigges for having GMO’s) And PUH-lease skip the microwave, eek! This recipe is so easy and much much better for you than the toxic load that comes in the the microwave stuff. I googled the ingredient list for the flavored microwave bags…are you ready? Here ya go: ORVILLE REDENBACHER’S, MICROWAVE SHAKEABLES, REAL RANCH POPCORN INGREDIENTS: Popcorn […]
Snacky Coconut Chips
Well, you know it wouldn’t be on here if it wasn’t coconut! So here is a super duper easy recipe for a little salty snack. Coconut Chips
Yummy in my Tummy Granola
Wahoo! I LOVE yogurt but gave it up when I eliminated dairy from my diet. But then I found coconut milk yogurt at ONF, and I fell back in love with eating yogurt for breakfast. The downside is that it is a bit pricey… So for every will there is a way! I came across a delicious yogurt recipe on the spunky coconut blog- I just love her and all her recipes, so I wanted to share the link with you to make your own yogurt…if you choose…otherwise buy it at the store and make your own granola!! Granola is […]

Hello, it’s Mandy…I know it’s been a while…I’m working on it! I think of you people everyday and want to post a million recipes BUT the later part of my pregnancy wore me out and now you know whats on the other side of that…a baby! She is precious and wonderful but so time consuming…geez! 🙂 Since daddy and Jude went to the park and little miss decided to snooze (see pic below), I had time to post a recipe-yay!! I feel like when mid afternoon hits I’m always craving something crunchy. I think I look in my pantry every […]
