Gallbladder Cleanse

We could all us a little clean up, right? I started this blog so I could provide you guys with healthy recipes to help you along your journey of health, but we are not perfect. The idea is to eat innately as much as possible but we are human and that doesn’t always happen…insert a CLEANSE!! Not only can our body become toxic from bad food, but it can also get that way from other environmental toxins as well.
Toxins can hang around in your gallbladder and liver. I am constantly amazed at the number of people who have their gallbladder removed. So let’s prevent those icky things from staying in our bodies.
Beets are an incredible cleanser, in fact most cleansing supplements contain beet root in some form or another. What my husband, Dr. Denny, will describe in this video is an easy way to cleanse your gallbladder. Please email if you have any questions about the information.

1. Mix 2 C of finely shredded, raw (preferably organic) ripe beets with the juice of a lemon and 2 tbsp of extra-virgin olive oil
2. Eat 1/2 the mixture between breakfast and lunch. Eat the other half between lunch and dinner for 10 days.
3. In addition, you should switch to a diet of whole foods with at least 1/3 of your diet raw. You can also take A-F betafood to get the full benefits of betaine. (available at our office)
