Drinks and Juice
Have you ever had the most amazing idea and then it fails. And it fails again and again and again AND again!?! Well that happened to me when I had the brilliant idea to introduce you to the amazing Native Nectar juice through some Par-tay Gummies. Remember Jello shots? Well, I thought hey, I’ve got a great recipe for gummies so lets just swap out some ingredients, add a little alcohol and done. I mean hell, if you’ve got a healthy juice, grass fed gelatin and maybe a dash of kombucha, the alcohol pretty much doesn’t even count! You’ve detoxed while […]
It’s hot. And I’m sweaty. Do you ever feel like have a cold drink after being outside in the summer or after a good workout? Just water doesn’t sound good and you know sports drinks are full of crap, you know that right? I mean flame retardants in your drink just never seemed liked a good idea to me. Not to mention the food coloring, high fructose corn syrup, and other food additives…blah! It’s super easy to make your own and only takes 4 simple ingredients. #1 Water. #2 Himalayan Sea Salt– this is where you’ll get 83 different minerals […]
I’m telling you this will change you life. Forget the toxic energy drinks out there, forget that morning coffee. This is the real deal. In case you missed my previous post on all the amazing benefits of organ meat you can check it out here. Also some of my favorite bloggers have written some great articles on the benefits of liver here and here. So where in the world did I get the outrageous idea to start shooting down some liver? Well, even though I know all the amazing benefits of eating organ meat, I really am only able to […]
Knock your socks off- this is pure deliciousness!!! Easy, easy and easy, we like that 🙂 If you haven’t picked up peaches from the farmers market yet then GO, they are so juicy right now. Perfect for eating fresh and making smoothies and the raw peach cobbler. (http://eatinginnately.com/?s=peach+cobbler). Denny jokes that he could take that stuff through and IV because he loves it so much! Hope you enjoy this smoothie! Orange Peach Smoothie 1 orange 2 peaches (depending on size- if small use 3) handful of spinach almond milk ice Blend and drink up. Yum!
LOVE LOVE smoothies! Especially when it is warm outside, nothing is as refreshing as a healthy smoothie. I hardly ever make the same smoothie twice because it totally depends on what is in season or what I have on hand. You know me though, one thing is guaranteed-it will have coconut is some form or another 🙂 Drink it up! Fruit Smoothie 1 orange, peeled 1/2 C pineapple 1 kiwi, peeled 1/2 C vanilla almond milk (or water) handful of spinach ice Blend and drink up. Yum!
Do you remember Flintstone push-pops? Well this is it (in drink form). I LOVED those things but this recipe is obviously a LOT better for you and so stinkin’ easy! LOVE IT!! Dreamsicle Delight 1 orange 1/2 C vanilla almond milk (http://eatinginnately.com/2010/02/vanilla-almond-mylk.html) 1/2 C ice Blend it up and enjoy. Yum!
Fresh Juice is the best of the best and SUPER easy to make in the vitamix. Most juices are concentrated and packed with sugar so this is a much better alternative. Banana/Carrot/Orange Juice 1/2 banana 1 carrot, peeled and chopped 1 orange peeled 1/2 C ice 1/2 C water Add all ingredients to the blender and blend to a nice juice consistency. Yum!!
This is yummy! I don’t really like to eat cantaloupe as it is, but blend it up in a smoothie and ooowee, it is tastey 🙂 Cantaloupe Smoothie 1 banana1/4-1/2 of cantaloupe (chopped in chunks with seeds removed)1/4 C coconut milkfew pieces of ice Blend and drink up!
This is an incredible detoxifying drink. During the fermentation process glucuronic acid is formed (normally only produced by the liver to neutralize toxins in the body). Additional glucuronic acid taken in the form of kombucha is said to be a powerful aid to the body’s natural cleaning process, a boost to the immune system and a proven prophylactic against cancer and other degenerative diseases. It is a delicious refreshing drink for a hot summer day. I have recently had to start doubling the batch because we are going through it so fast! Kombucha (makes about 2 quarts) 12 C of […]
